Constantijn van Oranje-Nassau has master degrees in Law from Leiden University (1995) and in Business Administration from INSEAD at Fontainebleau (2000). In 2015 he founded C22C bv to advise private business and governments on corporate innovation strategy and digital transition, and co-founded StartupFest Europe to support startups with their European growth strategies. He is Director Digital Technology and Macro Strategy at Macro Advisory Partners in London; advisor to Vice President Andus Ansip of the European Commission on matters relating to Internet Governance; and Senior Edge Fellow at Deloitte Centre for the Edge on corporate innovation. Till November 2014 Constantijn was Head of the Cabinet (Chief of Staff) of European Commission Vice-President Neelie Kroes, responsible for the European Digital Agenda. Before joining the European Commission in 2010 Mr van Oranje-Nassau was Head of the Information Policy and Economics team at RAND Europe, and Head of Brussels office of the RAND Corporation. He also worked as an associate analyst for Booz Allen & Hamilton in London (2001-2003); as trainee in telecom investment portfolio management at the International Finance Corporation in Washington DC (2000), and as Cabinet member of Commissioner Van de Broek at the European Commission (1995-1999). Mr. Van Oranje also advised the Dutch Foreign Ministry on European communication strategy (2003-2010), and holds a number of Board positions in charitable foundations in The Netherlands.
