The first day of TCI 2016 starts with a plenary welcome speech at 040 Congress & Events Van der Valk Hotel Eindhoven. From 10 o’clock several Cluster Tours will head off to various locations in the Netherlands. When the Tours return, the TCI General Assembly will take place at 040 Congress & Events Van der Valk Hotel. We end the day with the Welcome reception at the Muziekgebouw (Eindhoven city centre).

The Cluster Tours allow you to experience successful clusters in the Netherlands and understand how they operate in practice. Cluster managers will guide you through a day of inspiring stories on cluster development, cluster cooperation and current cluster challenges. Cluster members, ranging from companies (both innovative SMEs and internationally known OEMs) to knowledge and educational institutes and government representatives, will add their perspectives and experiences. In addition to stories, each Tour has several fun and interesting places to visit where you can see for yourself campus locations, startup hubs, research activities or field and test labs.
